For my Final Negotiated Project for university I wanted to explore the idea if adults can enjoy picture books. I was inspired by the short horror story ‘The Colour out of Space’ By H.P Lovecraft to create a picturebook fro adults. Using gruesome and disturbing imagery to illustrate the imagery in the story alongside distorted text to show the dark themes of the story.
