Macbeth Lino Print

For my print making elective in second year I created a wordless, continuous lino relief print inspired by Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Macbeth.

Because of the length of the print, at 1.5 meters long, problem solving was used to be able to print the lino.

An etching press with a replacement piece of wood was used to suit the size of the print. This was able to give the best outcome of the print, as it was able to apply enough pressure and give an even print.
